Amber feels completely at home teaching yoga. Her nurturing spirit and thoughtful presence enables her to hold space for the healing effects of this practice to occur.
Yoga has been a journey of self-discovery and WORK for Amber. Challenging as it may be at times, the physical, mental and spiritual practices of yoga unearth ease in her body and peace in her heart. Without fail, yoga is her safe haven from this busy world. It is way to soften and replenish, let go and be present, and establish contentment and harmony within all facets of her life.
Becoming a teacher profoundly enhanced her own experience and inspired lifelong dedication to this work. She sees every opportunity to share this practice as an act of love to herself and the world.
Her classes encourage a deep connection to the Self through conscious breath work, alignment-focused asana, ample time for stillness and all-important silence. Her classes are safe, trauma sensitive and promote an individual experience.
Amber studied with Lauren Leduc of Karma Tribe Yoga where she obtained her 200 hour teaching certification in 2018, and further studied Restorative Yoga with Carole Westerman of Evolve to Harmony Yoga.
Amber is the proud mama to a lively 1 year old, three dogs and a houseful of plants. She lives on good coffee and plant foods, feels most alive when immersed in nature, and enjoys watching and re-watching episodes of Friends with her husband over and over.
