Lisa Ash Drackert is a teacher, dreamer and adventure lover who believes the world would be a better place if everyone meditated and kissed doggies daily. As a life-long educator, Lisa is motivated to share the life-giving teachings of yoga when she sees students empowered to heal their lives and undergo spiritual and physical transformation. She specializes in Meditation, Therapeutic Yoga, Alignment Based Yoga and Vinyasa Flow Yoga.
Lisa’s classes are creative, energetic, challenging and deeply engaging. She says, “Most of us move through life yearning for freedom and space to ‘be ourselves.’ Yoga provides us an individualized architecture based in thousands of years of collective wisdom. I love yoga because the asanas transform our bodies, which then transforms our thoughts, our spirits, our everything. Teaching yoga is teaching people to genuinely listen in order to heal and to be themselves.”
Lisa Ash Drackert began teaching yoga in 2008 and completed her RYT-500 credentials through the Interdisciplinary Institute of Yoga Studies in 2015. She completed her eRYT-500 in 2018 through Yoga Medicine.
Lisa studies extensively Tiffany Cruikshank of Yoga Medicine. Her teachers include Renee DeTar of the Interdisciplinary Institute of Yoga Studios, Kathleen Kastner-Mortenson, Kate Lindholm Sargent and Gretchen Robinson.
Her background includes university degrees in Education, Psychology and Religious Studies. She also holds a Masters in Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
