Winter is the most Yin season of the year: it boasts dark, slow, introspective and inward energy. While it can be a tough time of year for many of us, if we learn to tune in to what nature is telling us, it can be a very powerful season for our promoting our well-being.
This 3 week series with Megan Hettich will explore Winter from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). We'll learn which organs and emotions are associated with the winter season and which yin yoga poses help bring more balance into our lives. We'll learn how to nourish ourselves emotionally and energetically through self-care practices in the season governed by the water element.
